Manners Park
Taylorville
Covering 55 acres, Manners Park offers a diverse range of amenities, including a 7-acre pond, community swimming pool, baseball diamonds, multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, tennis courts, basketball courts, disc golf course, a historic auditorium, and a dining hall which is rentable and hosts many events and activities year-round. Celebrating over 60 years of community fun, Manners Park has become a prime “go-to” spot for family reunions, path walkers, summer fun, winter sledding and Christmas in the Park.
Jayne's Park
Taylorville
Jaynes Park spans 11.4 acres of open space, predominantly utilized for picnics, situated on the western side of Taylorville. The park features three baseball fields, playground equipment, and hosts Red Bland Little League tee ball and machine pitch baseball activities. With restrooms and facilities available as well, Jayne’s Park is a welcoming community gathering place for Taylorville residents of all ages to enjoy the outdoors and each other’s company.
Kitchell Park

Often referred to by out-of-town visitors as “the park with the picturesque bridge,” Kitchell Park spans 40 acres and offers an array of amenities. This versatile park features a swimming pool for all ages (kiddie pool included), pavilions for gatherings scattered throughout, three baseball fields, three soccer fields, four playground areas, a 1.3-mile walking path, a 18-hole golf course, disc golf course, a lagoon for fishing, and tennis courts. Not to mention, a brand-new playground overlooking the most beautiful fountain.
